Information about using the DorDeCasa store, orders, delivery, returns and your rights. Use the contents to go directly to the section you need.
The dordecasa.de online store operates under the trading name DorDeCasa. The merchant’s identification details are available in the Legal notice (Impressum). The store uses the Shopify platform to operate its online services.
These terms concern use of the website and purchases from the store. They form part of a contract only as provided by law. Simply visiting the website does not mean that you waive your legal rights.
To place an order, you must have the necessary legal capacity or your legal representative’s consent where required by law. Provide accurate, current contact, billing and delivery details. Keep your account access details secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use.
Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activities, infringement of other people’s rights, harassment, spam or unauthorised access to data. Sending viruses, malware or destructive code and attempting to compromise the store’s security or operation are prohibited.
Before buying, review the available product description, quantity, ingredients, allergens and storage conditions. Contact us before ordering if anything is unclear. On receipt, follow the label’s instructions, including storage temperature and shelf life.
Photographs help identify products. Colours may appear different on different screens. This does not limit our obligation to supply goods matching their description and agreed characteristics, or allow us to replace ordered products unilaterally.
Before submitting your order, check the product prices, quantities and total, including applicable taxes and delivery charges shown at checkout. Also review the conditions of any promotion that applies.
Prices, promotions and availability may change for future purchases. Such updates do not automatically change the price or terms of an existing contract. If a display error or availability issue affects an order, we will contact you to clarify the situation, respecting both parties’ legal rights.
Check the products and the details you entered before submitting an order. If you notice an error later, contact us as soon as possible and provide the order number. Whether a change is possible depends on the processing stage; statutory withdrawal rights and rights concerning faulty goods remain applicable.
Available payment methods and the amount payable are shown at checkout. Only use a payment method you are authorised to use. Do not send passwords or full card details by email.
Accepting, changing or cancelling an order is subject to the legal rules on forming and performing contracts. These terms do not give us a general right to arbitrarily cancel existing contracts or retain money without a legal basis.
Information about delivery areas, charges, times and carriers is available in the Shipping policy and in the information shown for your order. For products requiring refrigeration or freezing, follow the storage instructions on the packaging after receipt.
Contact us if a parcel does not arrive, goods are damaged or you receive the wrong item. Your order number and photographs, if you can provide them, help us investigate. Asking you to notify us promptly does not limit statutory consumer rights or time limits.
For online purchases, consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the goods, subject to legal conditions and exceptions. The voluntary 30-day return offer described in the Refund policy is separate from and does not replace this legal right.
Exceptions must be assessed for each product: for example, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, or certain sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Food products are not all automatically excluded from withdrawal.
The statutory right of withdrawal does not generally depend on keeping the original packaging or leaving the goods entirely unused. Any loss of value is assessed as provided by law. Rights concerning defective, damaged or non-conforming goods are separate and remain applicable even where an exception to withdrawal applies.
You have statutory rights concerning non-conforming goods. Subject to the law, remedies may include repair or replacement, a price reduction, termination of the contract and, where applicable, damages. The nature of the goods and the circumstances determine the available remedy. Any commercial guarantee is additional to, and does not replace, statutory rights.
Our liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability for injury to life, body or health, intentional conduct or gross negligence, or mandatory product liability. They do not impose a blanket obligation on consumers to indemnify us against all third-party claims.
Public reviews and comments should reflect your experience, respect other people’s rights and contain no misleading information, threats, unlawful content or third parties’ personal data. We may moderate content that breaches these rules, within the law.
Sending a private message to our support team does not give permission to publish it. Content you submit is published or used only with permission or another applicable legal basis. Reproducing protected website content requires the rights holder’s permission, except where the law allows it.
Our Privacy policy explains how we process personal data, including the use of cookies and connected services. Accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required for certain data processing.
The website may include links or features from third-party providers. Review their terms and policies when using their services. An external link does not remove our legal responsibilities for our own activities or for services we provide.
The website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates or technical reasons. We may restrict access for justified reasons, such as fraud, cyberattacks or unlawful activity, using proportionate measures.
Interrupting website access or closing an account does not automatically cancel existing contracts or remove statutory rights or obligations concerning delivery, refunds or complaints.
German law applies. For consumers, this choice does not remove the protection of mandatory rules in their country of habitual residence where those rules apply under Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation. Statutory rules on court jurisdiction remain applicable.
Individual agreements take precedence over standard terms. Doubts when interpreting standard terms are resolved against their user under section 305c(2) BGB. If a term is invalid or does not form part of the contract, section 306 BGB governs the consequences: statutory rules replace it and the rest of the contract generally remains valid.
We may update these terms for the future, for example to reflect changes to the store or the law. The current version is available on this page with its last updated date.
Publishing a new version and continuing to browse the website do not automatically change an existing contract. Changes to existing contracts remain subject to legal requirements and, where necessary, the parties’ agreement.
